The Valley Beat
The Valley Beat is a partnership between two leading cross-pacific technology marketing and PR executives. Susan Fitzpatrick, CEO Datelinemedia USA [LLC] (www.datelinemedia.com) and David Cannington, CEO of Traction-USA (www.traction-usa.com), who came up with the idea over breakfast at the W Hotel in San Francisco back in January, 2007.
The idea of the The Valley Beat is to create a voice for Aussie technology executives in Silicon Valley. The site is designed to provide relevant Silicon Valley news for Australians and to highlight and celebrate successful Australian technology executives and companies who are making things happen in the US technology sector.
David Cannington added “ I’ve been working in Silicon Valley for a long time, and its always frustrated me that Australian technology executives haven’t been recognized for their contribution, The Valley Beat will provide a voice for these executives and their stories”.
The Valley Beat has the potential to become a leading source of news and entertainment for people interested in Silicon Valley from an Australian perspective. It will cover innovative technology companies migrating to the US, Australian technology companies who are already building their businesses in the US, and senior Australian executives working for leading US technology companies.
